Pastor David Keithley

David has come home.  After going to kindergarten in Farmington, IL, just 10 miles down the road from Hanna City, it seems God intended to return him to his roots.  David began serving as pastor at Hanna City Presbyterian Church (HCPC) in August 2013. With his wife Jennifer (married in 1994), David has 4 children: Peterson (adopted from Haiti), Wesley, Abigail (adopted from Guatemala), and Kathryn. His family is his greatest joy apart from Jesus, and he enjoys being with them, laughing with them, and pointing them to Jesus both in his failures and his victories, any chance he can. He's also fanatical about the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears, and keeps up on regional sports in general so don't expect a short conversation if you bring that up... he'll have an opinion (even if it's wrong).

Prior to joining us, David served as Pastor of Youth and Families at Christ Church (Presbyterian Church in America) in Normal, IL for almost 11 years. Before that, he graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO and ministered for a time at two other churches.

In addition to his work at HCPC, David has served on a variety of committees and boards, including serving as president of the board for reConnect Youth Ministries, Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center's stewardship committee, Connecting Hearts with the Forgotten's Adoption and Orphan Care Leadership Team, and various committees within his denomination. David is also a certified financial coach through the ministry of Dave Ramsey, and a certified youth ministry coach with PACT Ministry.
